We write a book to establish our credibility and authority. But wow, book royalties build sloooooooowly. So, we build a profitable course to monetize the knowledge in the book (smart!).

When I started, I did what many entrepreneurs do: quick math to determine startup costs and got started as a one-dude show. This is where the fun and the pain coincided.
